About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Administrator to join the CHARMER research team.
CHARMER is an NIHR Programme Grant for Applied Research funded project and collaborating organisations are the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge University Hospitals Foundation Trust and the Universities of York, Leeds, Newcastle East Anglia.
The project aims to refine and test a practitioner behaviour change intervention to increase proactive deprescribing for older people in hospital.
You will be an integral member of the CHARMER research team and the main duties will be to oversee day-to-day administrative activities to support successful delivery of the project.
Working with the team to build relationships with our key stakeholders, including organisations representing patients, healthcare practitioners and commissioners, will be a core part of the role.
You will organise and support meetings, including preparation of agendas and minutes.You will have strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively individually and as part of team.
You will be comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload to deal with urgent tasks, while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will be joining a busy, dynamic and successful team in a role that offers varied and exciting opportunities to engage with a wide range of individuals.
This role will also provide you with the opportunity to make a significant contribution to research.Additional information:
