We are looking to recruit a Senior High Intensity Therapist to join teams working across Surrey in our Talking Therapies services.

This is a role for a qualified practitioner who is looking to expand their individual clinical practice to include digital, group & one to one CBT Step 3 NICE recommended interventions alongside providing clinical supervision to trainee and qualified therapists.

You will be part of an MDT working within a stepped care model delivering an NHS contract.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

IAPT Course (Post Graduate Diploma) or equivalent: e.g. a recorded/registered doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology, a recorded/registered qualification in one of the following nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy, or within a psychological therapy plus further post graduate qualification training in CBT, and significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required
Accreditation with BABCP
Evidence of continuous professional development
Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services / routine outcome monitoring, risk assessments
Knowledge/understanding of anxiety and depression and how it may present in Primary Care
Knowledge of medication used in anxiety and depression and other common mental health problems
Knowledge of child protection issues and other relevant legislation
Able to use clinical supervision and personal development positively and effectively
Able to work under pressure, high level of enthusiasm and motivation
Able to work within a team and foster good working relationships
Ability and skills to act as an advocate for a new service
Flexibility of working times required
Location negotiable but must be able to visit other locations from time to time in order to deliver the services required
