Join us as a Risk Testing & Monitoring Manager

  • This is an opportunity for a passionate and driven manager to join a development focused and fast paced team
  • We'll look to you to design and execute robust and efficient testing strategies that focus on risk management outcomes
  • You'll be making sure that the identification, assessment and monitoring of risks are undertaken effectively, in accordance with regulatory requirements

What you'll do

As a Risk Testing & Monitoring Manager, you'll be delivering and documenting high quality Risk Testing & Monitoring reviews across customer-facing businesses and supporting functions to ensure compliance with our policies.


You'll also be:

  • Making sure that accurate and timely updates are made to the review tracker database to allow senior management to extract accurate and uptodate management information
  • Supporting the creation, maintenance and delivery of the Risk Testing & Monitoring plan particularly for the customerfacing businesses and support functions under your direct responsibility
  • Providing feedback and coaching to colleagues to help build a highly effective and diverse team who can deliver stretch targets that support the success of the function
  • Evaluating and escalating situations or issues which may require further investigation
  • Maintaining strong stakeholder engagement through the execution of assurance activity and building ongoing relationships, to engender a culture of collaborative working, openness and transparency

The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with detailed knowledge of risk management and a robust understanding of risk management within a financial services environment.

We'll also look to you to bring good knowledge of the regulatory requirements relevant for the specificrisk management discipline and industry best practice.


In addition, you'll need:

  • Knowledge of the design and execution of testing and monitoring programmes within a financial services environment
