Who we are looking for

This role will focus on developing and executing global PR strategy for State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), the asset management arm for State Street in EMEA.

He or she will work closely with the regional and global PR teams, business marketing functions,SSGA and STT leadership and PR agencies on a daily basis to ensure media opportunities for key spokespeople are identified and leveraged, and that all necessary processes and policies are followed.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Work with colleagues on the internal PR team, global marketing and external agencies to create, refine and deliver differentiated media driven activity in support of the firm's corporate PR strategy and State Street's individual business units' objectives
  • Develop media campaign strategies around the business' latest thought leadership, including topics such as asset stewardship, retirement, emerging markets, quantitative investing and private credit. Develop or strengthen relationships with global, nationaland regional press contacts both within our daytoday business.
  • Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and partners to align PR strategy with business objectives
  • Independently own programs/campaigns from concept through to execution
  • Compose and edit content including press releases, bylines, talking points, media briefings social and digital media
  • Support media interactions of business stakeholders at industry conferences

Education & Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 79 years of experience in communications/public relations fields with a track record of successful developing relationships with reporters and securing coverage focus on EMEA markets
  • In house or previous agency experience both considered
  • Exceptional client management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and manage integrated PR/marketing plans and timelines
  • Strong command of traditional, digital, social and integrated marketing tactics
  • A consummate team player with a cando attitude
