We have big goals over the next few years.

We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.


Together we'll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.


Will you join us?


You will work with our Youth Voice Network team and Lived Experience unit to drive the organisation forward in our ambitions to become an influential advocate for young people's rights, supporting young people with a focus on trauma and create more opportunities for young people to lead our work.


The Youth Voice Network team are dedicated to listening to young people with varied experiences and backgrounds, proactively seeking out the voices of underrepresented groups.

We ensure they have the tools, encouragement and platforms to meaningfully influence leaders and decisions that affect them and their mental health on a national and local level.

We take a rights-based approach, empowering young people to have their voices heard and to make lasting impact in their communities.


The post holder will:

  • Enable and empower young people aged to shape and lead on Mind's work so that it is directly informed by the lived experiences of young people at both a local and national level.
  • Develop Mind's capacity and skills across the organisation to work with young people.
  • Work with colleagues to support the delivery of the team's various projects and initiatives.
  • Communicate and work with people from a range of backgrounds, including minority ethnic backgrounds.

The post is available for home or office-based working


This position is in line with current guidance, the post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team) but this role will retain some flexibility working from home (hybrid working).
