Management Accountant

Search are partnered with a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer in the Central Belt of Scotland to urgently hire a Management Accountant for their expanding finance team.

The role provides a fantastic opportunity for development and career progression asthe business continues to grow organically and via acquisition.

There will be scope to introduce your own ideas in a dynamic team and opportunities for involvement in projects including ERP implementation and major cap-ex investments.

You will be responsible for the production and analysis of management accounts for various sites managed by the group finance team.

Working alongside the commercial and operations teams, you will challenge financial performance as required and help drivecompany strategy.

Duties

Production of the management accounts, sales and commercial analysis, overheads analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Management and development of the transactional finance team and Assistant Accountant
Monthly sales analysis to support commercial and operations teams
Working capital management support for the Group Finance Director and Group Accountant
Budgeting and forecasting
Produce a monthly EBITDA with commentary
Variance investigation and additional reporting following month end
Supporting the business with adhoc costing and financial support
Preparation of quarterly VAT submissions
Year end audit support

Requirements:

Comfortable in an evolving business environment
Exceptional attention to detail
Proactive and selfmotivated
Strong communication skills, contributing to presentations and reports
Working within cross functional project teams to meet common objectives
Internal and external stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisation skills with the ability to coordinate tasks across multiple projects
Willing to take ownership over project work packages
A high degree of skill in Excel
