Lunar Freezing & Cold Storage Company Limited is a well-established family-owned business. Lunar is a vertically integrated company incorporating the catching, processing and delivery of high-quality seafood to our customers worldwide.

A great opportunity has arisen for a
Fabricator/Welder to join our Engineering team based in Peterhead.

Your primary role will be the fabrication of equipment to a high standard, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety policies.

Accuracy and efficiency with attention to detail.
The ability to work as part of a team and to use your own initiative.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and with a handson, cando attitude.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Effective communication skills.
Pleasant and professional manner in dealing with colleagues, supervisors, employees and outside agencies.

Experience:

Prepared to commute to Peterhead on a daily basis (required)
Stainless Steel TIG Welding: 1 year (required)
Previous experience using machinery such as guillotines, press brakes, plasma cutters, plate rollers and bandsaws: 1 year (Desirable)

Schedule:

It is a full-time, permanent position with overtime available - although your core working hours will be 07:00-15:30 Monday to Friday (with 30 minutes unpaid break) a shift system is in place, and Saturday work will be required during busy periods.
