Abbott's diabetes care division is part of Abbott Laboratories and is one of the leading manufacturers of cutting edge glucose monitoring systems for the home and hospital diabetes markets.

Our UK operations are both R&D/Manufacturing at our state of the art facility in Witney, and Sales, Marketing and Commercial functions based out of Maidenhead, supported by many field-based teams.


Primarily supporting our sales teams, this is an exciting opportunity to gain experiences in various elements of sales and business analytics.

With a focus on salesforce excellence, you will be involved in the maintenance of our CRM system, run reports and then transfer data into PowerBI to create dashboards and present findings.

This opportunity also offers analytical review of our learning systems and their utilisation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support with competitor analysis, and other projects, with your ideas for innovation being welcome


This opportunity is suitable for a student studying towards a degree (Bachelors or Integrated Masters) in a Business, Analytics, Data or IT related topic, and would form part of a year in industry requirement.

You will be confident at working independently as well as part of a team, demonstrate a creative flair whilst balancing this with ability to work in a process-based environment, and offer a people-focused mindset.

Strong skills in Excel are key to succeeding in this role, and experience of Salesforce and/or PowerBI are advantageous but not essential.


Throughout the placement, you will have regular opportunities to learn, develop, grow and of course gain continuous feedback, coaching and mentoring to further support your learning.
