Gluing Operator - Moll

Salary:
£27K-£30K + overtime opportunities

Location:
Newcastle

My client are a leading print and packaging business based in the North East who are looking to bring in an experience Moll operator to their growing team.

Job duties:

Operate, set up, and maintain folding and gluing machines necessary for producing products in accordance with customer specifications.
Install the appropriate tools, blades, and folding devices to achieve the necessary folding and prebreaking for the Product.
Determine the proper positioning of the glue system(s) to ensure the correct final setup and functionality.
Adjust controls to regulate the placement and timing of electronic glue systems.
Continuously monitor the quality of production, while also ensuring that packers are performing their tasks as required.
Consistently meet production schedule plan and attainment goals.
Read work orders and production schedules to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Start and shut down machines, monitoring operations and restocking materials as needed.
Always maintain cleanliness of equipment and the assigned production area.
Adhere to company policies and procedures while working.
Maintain constant visual oversight of parts produced and conduct visual quality control audits.
Identify and report product malfunctions to the appropriate individuals.
Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
Effectively communicate with supervisors, managers, and other colleagues.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
