local authority in

East London to recruit an experienced

Career Advisor If you are looking to increase your earnings for the year,


Contract: - 6 months (Possible Extension)

Salary:
£22.58p/h (Umbrella)

Start Date:
April 2023

Shift Pattern: 36 hours / Full-time

Start Time: 9:00am -

17:00pm

DUTIES:


  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to participants based on up to date knowledge and analysis of the labour market.
  • Identifies gaps in service provision/highlight issues and makes recommendations to resolve the issues.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external colleagues.
  • Work closely with others to support/Manage the development and delivery of improvements in processes and procedures.
  • Carry out all duties and responsibilities with reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others and report any potential hazards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
  • Understanding of the key issues facing the recruitment industry, including skills shortages and training methods.
  • Experience of working on employment and training initiatives with multiagency partners.
  • Experience of working with jobseekers including, those that are disadvantaged in the labour market and face barriers to employment.
