Our client are from the Building and Construction industry and are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join their team based in Hitchin on a permanent basis.

Description
As a HR Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice to management on employee relations and management issues
  • To write or review all relevant notes and letters as required and sending them out in a timely manner
  • Creating, implementing and and administrating employee policies
  • Interpret and advises on employment legislation
  • Identifying ways to improve existing policies and procedures
  • Advising on company benefits packages
  • To ensure that all selfcertification forms and doctor's notes, where required, are provided by employees who are absent due to sickness
  • To build and maintain strong productive relationships with site managers and attend appropriate meetings as required.
  • Delivering on Recruitment, Induction & Onboarding, employee terms and conditions of employment, benefits and related processes

Profile

The successful HR Advisor will show:

  • Experience working within a similar role and in a fast-paced environment


  • CIPD Level

  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skill with the ability to prioritise/multitask.
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good problemsolving ability
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
