Milk Education are currently working with a School in the Trafford area, they are seeking to appoint a long-term or day-to-day classroom Cover Supervisor.

The role is to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing throughout the full academic year.

A Cover Supervisors' role is to ensure pupils carry out pre-prepared exercises when teaching staff are on short-term absence.

The role should not require any active teaching, marking, or planning and bookings can be flexible to fit your other commitments.

This is a great opportunity for those that are thinking about getting into teaching, have taught in the past, or feel confident enough to support a class without needing to teach

Key Responsibilities:

Covering lessons for a class teacher who are absent due to sickness, training or meetings
Positive classroom management, building rapport and a good working relationship with students and staff alike
Being adaptable to students needs by providing 1 to 1 and small group assistance where required
Working with other staff members to meet the schools expectations of learning and development

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria:

Must have a good educational background including GCSE
Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
