Rotherham Music, provides music education to more than 3000 children and young people each week across a range of musical disciplines for both in and out of school education.
Alongside its provision for children and young people the service also supports a range of community music programmes from its Mini Melodies programme for pre-school children and their parents through to the extremely successful Care Home Choir project which was launched to help reconnect with older audiences following the pandemic.
In the last year Rotherham Music has expanded its activities and moved into working in some new areas including its successful half term Signals Music festival the filled Rotherham with music.
We are looking for an Administrative Service Support Assistant to work in our Rawmarsh Office.This will be a frontline customer service / administrative role and involves dealing with parents, teachers and schools on a daily basis.
The role will report directly to the Business Development and Information Manager. This is an exciting time to be joining a team at the start of a new journey.We are looking for somebody who ideally has:
Experience of working in a busy business support / administrative role providing financial administration and information and data management.
Experience of cash handling, managing orders and invoicing, creating and filing contracts for services.
Experience of managing data from multiple sources, receiving, analysing and interpreting data for management reports with care, accuracy and confidentiality.
Experience of working in an environment where literacy and numeracy skills have been demonstrated
Appreciation of auditable financial procedures, GDPR and awareness of the need to maintain sensitive information and records securely in order to prevent inappropriate access.
Experience of providing customer service to the public and other organisations in a high volume and fast paced multi-channel environment.
