Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior healthcare assistant to work on D12.

D12 is a 9 bedded haematology ward, that consists of all side rooms. Patients are admitted and treated for a wide range of haematological disorders including Sickle cell and thalassemia patients.


We are moving into a purpose built ward in the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital next year and we hope you can join us.


Undertake aspects of basic nursing care and maintenance of the ward/ department, in support of professionally qualified members of the multidisciplinary team ensuring the highest standard of patient/client care.

Undertake some higher-level clinical duties under the direction/supervision of a qualified nurse/practitioner.

Deliver care under the supervision and direction of qualified members of the team.


Recognise, review and report any change to patient's/client's condition, including any action taken to appropriately qualified senior members of the team.
