Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on projects to drive forward the Property Management D&I agenda, such as mentoring schemes, allies programme, community projects and outreach programmes.
  • Work with the Property Management communications team and D&I groups/networks to create high quality and impactful communications, including blog posts, articles, education pieces, and newsletters on D&I news
  • Organise and run the Property Management D&I committee, including the D&I steering group, chaired by Divisional HR Director, and the D&I working group committee, keeping notes of actions and ensuring commitment to those actions
  • Assist the UK Head of Diversity & Inclusion on a wider UK D&I events calendar, ensuring the property management D&I groups are connecting and networking to ensure intersectionality where appropriate
  • Lead on major events for Property Management, such as national inclusion week, with the support from the D&I groups and networks
  • Draft any external text or content required for D&I best practice such as Gender & Ethnicity Pay Gap as well as supporting Head of D&I on Stonewall Equality Index, Social Mobility Index etc
  • Create and own a central mechanism within Property Management to record D&I activity across all managed sites and inhouse teams which can be easily accessed for various requirements including best practice, knowledge sharing and building strategic partnerships
  • Track progress against Savills D&I targets and PM+ principles, working with the UK Sustainability teams and Head of D&I where it relates to the property management Green Charter and group ESG strategy
  • Highlight and deliver recommendations and progress to the PM+ Divisional Board on D&I initiatives including attending the board periodically
  • Be an active member of the People+ Board within Property Management actively feeding in to the People strategy for Property Management
  • Champion and role model inclusive behaviours and D&I best practice in everything that you do

Key Skills
Experience

  • Experience of previously working in a D&I role.
  • Evidence of knowledge and understanding of D&I issues, legislation and good practice.
  • Evidence of working within a large organisation (ideally professional services) and engaging with a range of stakeholders, including employee working/focus groups.
  • Excellent judgment and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in leading on projects and initiatives including measuring successes
  • Experience of writing communication pieces.
