About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Securities Sales Specialist.
He / she must possess working knowledge of a wide variety of interest rate and foreign exchange instruments including Spot FX, FX Forwards, Swaps, and NDFs, FX Options, Nominal Treasuries, TIPS, Agencies, SSAs, Interest Rate Swaps, cross-currency swaps, andInterest Rate Options.
(Note:In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required)
In this role, you will:
- Market Interest Rate Derivatives & Foreign Exchange
- Develop new businesses opportunities in European derivatives market
- Provides regular market commentary and colour to Sales teams, support partners and senior management
- Adhere with compliance and risk mandates.
Required Qualifications, International:
- Knowledge of the cash and derivative markets in multiple currencies
- Ability to help develop structures that fit clients' hedging needs in interest rate and foreign exchange products
- Has to be able to model and quantify risks of transactions
- Knowledge of global bond markets, futures markets, foreign exchange markets, and derivative markets
- Communicate clearly to clients and internal salespeople about marker relevant events that will impact their decisions.
- Familiarity with funding needs and balance sheet usage and implications
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive and direct coverage experience of one or more client verticals including Bank Treasuries, Insurance, and Pension
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, a desire and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Willingness to travel to visit clients on a frequent basis
- Degree from a Four Year Accredited College or University is a minimum requirement
