Description

The HR Generalist will report to the HR Manager and be a part of a wider established HR team.

With HR Generalists' being partnered with a variety of internal departments and become the key point of contact, the role-holder will be required to work with Line Managers and Supervisors to assist all HR queries for a given area of the business and enhance the employee life cycle.

Responsibilities:

Becoming the HR point of contact for a number departments with the vision of supporting the employee life cycle, ensuring processes are updated and reviewed in line with current best practice in this area
Provision of advice to line managers and staff in line with policies, procedures and legislative requirements
Liaise with Departmental Line Managers regarding their recruitment requirements, developing job descriptions and person specifications, participating in shortlisting and assisting interviews
Working alongside the HR team to achieve the range of active HR Projects, ensuring all projects are tracked, communicated and delivered
Preparation of staff employment contracts and distribution of same
Liaise with both payroll and the allocated departments on a monthly basis regarding contractual changes
Ensure the termination of fixed term contracts in line with the statutory dismissal procedure
Build and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels across the business
At least 2 years' experience in working with HR related administration
Professionally qualified (CIPD Level 5) or working towards this
Worked in a fastpaced environment, delivering high quality service and results
Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate and engage with all levels of management
