£30,000-£35,000p.a.


Hours of work:
Full time; Monday to Friday Hybrid Working (60/40 Pattern)

Benefits:

Kameo Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with one of the largest independent financial consultants based in Cambridge, to recruit an Account Manager to join their Virtual Finance Office (VFO) Team.

_To be considered for this role, you must have an AAT level 4 qualification and have either completed (totally or partially) or are about to begin your ACCA qualification. Ideally, your past experience will involve account management, financialreporting, bookkeeping, and/or 2-3 years of practise experience._

Duties & Responsibilities of the Account Manager

  • Responsible for the delivery of an outsourced accounting and backoffice service to clients
  • Work with clients to understand their accounting and reporting requirements
  • Ensure timely completion of all aspects of accounts preparation and management reporting for clients.
  • Manage accounts, general bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Seek opportunities to sell additional services to existing clients alongside searching for
- potential leads with new clients.

  • Meet client deadlines, responding quickly to clients' changing needs.
  • Supervision of junior staff involved in processing client information.
  • Manage time frames, costs and deadlines.

Responsibilities for the role

  • AAT level 4 qualified, ACCA fully or partially qualified (or is about to begin)
  • Experience with Excel and accounting packages e.g. SAGE/ Xero/ Cloud
  • High level of IT literacy,
  • Team management, Training apprentices and junior team members
  • Revenue reconciliation, communication, customer service
  • Works in a flexible and supportive manner
