We have an opportunity for a hands on and passionate Senior UX Designer to join our UX Team in Glasgow.


You will be an integral part of an Agile team focused on understanding and improving the experience across the firm impacting over 50,000 technologists.


Job responsibilities

  • Define an end to end understanding of experiences across products to articulate the current and future state experience.
  • Drive design strategy and priorities through research and data analytics, with clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other designers, researchers, product managers, and developers to create designs that marry the best of user, business and technology thinking.
  • Work alongside other design practitioners and researchers in ideation and sketching sessions to come up with design concepts.
  • Empathize and advocate for the user. And support Software Engineers and Product teams in understanding their customer.
  • Communicate and articulate the value of UX and the rationale behind your process and recommendations, bringing the team along your journey.
  • Lead crossfunctional Design Thinking exercises.
  • Support the experience teams in building and evolving research and measurement practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's in UX/Human Computer Interaction or related field or equivalent experience
  • Applied advanced experience in the field of User Experience Design
  • Experience creating common user research outputs such as Personas, User Journeys, Empathy Maps and f amiliarity with Figma
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
  • Adept at presenting findings to team members and stakeholders from multidisciplinary backgrounds and varying organisational levels
  • Strong communication, project planning and management skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience of working in corporate technical delivery teams
  • Understanding of DevOps concepts
  • Data visualisation and analytics skills
