We are seeking a committed and dedicated person to join our maternity team as a preterm birth maternity support worker.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who will work collaboratively with the MDT to implement SBL V3 and its commitment to reducing preterm term birth.

This is an exciting new role where you will work alongside a named preterm birth lead midwife and named consultant to provide enhanced maternity care to women and birthing people at risk of preterm birth.

A full driving licence and access to a car is essential


The preterm birth MSW will be expected to work both clinically and non clinically in a preterm birth setting, alongside the Preterm Birth Consultant, Preterm birth midwife and the wider multidisciplinary team.

This is an opportunity to provide women under the care of the preterm birth clinic continuity of care and to improve health outcomes by implementing elements from Saving Babies Lives which is committed to reducing preterm birth.
