Mon - Fri (8:30am - 4:00pm)


Pay Rate:
£80-£100 /day


SEN Teaching Assistant


Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with experience in supporting students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)? Our schools based in Bromley, London, are seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our inclusive and supportive team.


Key Responsibilities:

Supportive Learning Environment: Assist in the development and implementation of tailored support plans for students with SLD and PMLD, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

Individualized Support: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, adapting teaching materials and methods to accommodate diverse learning needs.

Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the SEN team, teachers, and other professionals to contribute to the overall development and progress of students with SLD and PMLD.

Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and external specialists to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to each student's care and education.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Previous experience working with students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Educational Needs or a related field are desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic classroom environment.
