Farrer Barnes is currently working alongside an innovative business in aid of appointing a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

Based in Gravesend, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a progressive environment with an excellent capacity forprofessional development.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Support the monthend closing process (posting journals, consolidations etc)
  • Preparation of monthly reporting packs and their subsequent presentation
  • Preparation of statutory accounts
  • Act as a point of liaison for internal and external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with various accounting standards

Requirements:


  • Must be partqualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Knowledgeable of financial reporting standards (IFRS)
  • Ability to convey financial information to nonfinance stakeholders
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel
