Trainee Registrations Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Registrations Officer to join our Post Completions team based in our Canterbury office.
The purpose of this role is to ensure client's conveyancing matters are registered at Land Registry in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
Key Duties of the Role:
- Undertake administration duties associated with daily work;
- Maintain client files, paper and electronically, using the firms case management system;
- Closely work with Land Registry to register transactions;
- Ensure all necessary requirements and legal obligations are met;
- Ensure Firm policy and procedure is adhered to during the transaction;
- Participate in all training programmes initiated by the Line Managers;
- Report all issues of concern to the Head of Department or as they may direct;
- To administer daily work within the restrictions of GDPR, Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme and Solicitors Regulation Authority;
- To undertake additional tasks as deemed reasonable to meet the needs of the team in the delivery of excellent client service.
Requirements for the Role:
- Experience using Land Registry is desirable;
- Use IT systems efficiently;
- High degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detail;
- Have a willingness to learn and develop expertise knowledge is essential as the legal industry is constantly evolving. In a busy office a polite and professional approach is a must;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs A
- C/94 or equivalent is essential;
- Previous legal admin experience, preferably in conveyancing is desirable.
Salary:
£21,000.00
Full training will be provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
