HR Officer Inside IR35

Contract Term: 3 Months + possible extension

Contracting Authority:
Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (Home Office)


Location:
Nottingham (Hybrid)


As a HR Officer yourmain responsibilities would be:

  • You will be required to facilitate and manage the collective and individual consultation exercises including overseeing all the administrative requirements, attending meetings and recording minutes
  • Responding in the first instance to employee or line manager queries, and the management of exits via the Civil Service Compensation Scheme (CSCS).
  • Dealing with Unions
  • You will provide support to current Head of People, in Employee Relations casework plus the management of a consultation exercise which is likely to involve exits under the CSCS

You'll have relevant experience in:


  • Experience of managing collective and individual consultation processes, redeployment and management of exits under the CSCS framework.
  • Management of HR elements of organisational structure change within Civil Service
  • Experience in the arrangement, facilitation and accurate record keeping at consultation meetings, confident in on the spot Q&A
  • Experience of managing collective and individual consultation processes up to and including compulsory redundancy
  • Experience dealing with unions and employee relations experience
  • Experience in a public sector, ideally Civil Service environment
  • An understanding of Civil Service Compensation Scheme
