Opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist - Medical Education

The post holder will be responsible to the Head of Medical Education, Director of Medical Education
and Clinical Education Lead, providing the first point of contact for service users and facilitators.


The Medical Education Receptionist will provide the medical education management team with quality administrative support in order to support the delivery of medical education within the Trust for the benefit of medical education students, doctors in training, Consultants and SAS doctors.

The post holder will also support the day to day activity within the clinical education centre ensuring
all daily activity is clearly sign-posted and training facilities are maintained to a high standard for the
effective delivery of training activity throughout the day


The successful applicant will be the first point of contact for service users at Southport Clinical Education Centre on the Southport Hospital site, supporting the wider medical education team in ensuring efficient and effective preparation of training rooms and associated equipment in readiness for training sessions.


The post holder will manage bookings for the training facility and respond to general queries, referring enquiries on to programme coordinators, and service managers.


You will work as an effective and collaborative team member, supporting the delivery of an efficient service which meets our contractual obligations with Health Education England (NW) and our partner higher education institutions in the provision of excellent standards of medical education at the Trust.
