Purpose:
To provide all-round administration/customer service that assists with the smooth running of the department.
The Role:
- Be the point of contact for all visitors to Ticketing & Membership Services; serve supporters on the T&MS counter, increasing sales by cross selling other products and services, demonstrating professionalism and exceptional service
- Undertake T&MS administrative duties such as: allocating tickets for Domestic and European home and away matches, Season Ticket and Official Membership renewals, duplicate requests, returned mail, ticket collections, ticket fulfilment
- Undertake systemled processes which lead to efficient and accurate results such as batch renewals, client creation, ticket sales and manage ticket inventory
- Take responsibility for own workload and manage your time effectively to ensure all duties are completed within deadlines
- Work with our disabled supporters to resolve their queries and ensure equality and diversity remains at the heart of our service, and all supporters have a world class experience regardless of their needs
- Work to support our MUSCs and secretaries around the world with general queries, Official Membership and ticket sales, as well as events
- Assist with ad hoc ticket collections at away games, semifinals, finals and European away games
- Demonstrate an understanding and take responsibility for maximising sales for Official Membership, match tickets, Matchday Hosptitality and Season Tickets, working towards departmental objectives
- Ensure that all departmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Undertake general office clerical duties such as signing visitors in/out of the building, preparing and maintaining meeting rooms, keeping customer facing areas clean and tidy, ensure the T&MS counter is stocked up for daytoday and Matchday activities
The Person:
- Customer service or sales experience in a ticketing based role
- Client account management experience not essential but desirable, or experiencing in building relationships with clients to help enhance experience for all customers
- Competent in working on and picking up complex system processes, and developing processes to improve ways of working
- Sound personal qualities such as communication skills, selfmotivation, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
- Be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft office or similar packages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating in writing to clients and external stakeholders as well as building and developing internal relationships
- Able to work independently with limited input and delivering results, or as part of a team
- Comfortable working face to face on matchdays in and around a busy football stadium, and problem solving on the spot.
