Wakefield Hospice needs you

A little of your time makes a lot of difference to others.

  • Retail Support in shops and online
  • Admin, Clerical and Accounting Support
  • Patient and Family Support
  • Gardeners, Drivers and Caretakers, Housekeeping and Laundry, Catering
  • Fundraising and Community Engagement
  • Retail Support
  • Warehouse and Distribution
  • Fundraisers and Community Engagement
  • Corporate Supporters
Volunteers bring their own skills and experience that enrich our services. Some are looking for opportunities to gain new skills, experience for employment or for new social contacts. We have a variety of opportunities to offer.


Whatever part of the hospice family you would like to be part of, we only ask for a commitment to suit us both and the enthusiasm to make a difference.

We offer ongoing support and training so our volunteers are fully engaged and feel valued.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are to be worn at all times when waking around the Hospice


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wakefield, WF1 4TS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
