As part of Biocair's Operations/logistics department, deliver the highest quality service in our industry by ensuring all shipments are managed in the most efficient, safest and cost-effective way.
Responsibilities:
Ensure correct and timely completion of all tasks as requested by Biocair Global Operations Teams including:
- Produce export documents (invoice Air Waybills etc.)
- Booking flights/ transport suppliers
- Liaising with collection sites to confirm pick up arrangements
- Raising NES (Custom Export Declarations)
- Confirming third party collection & deliveries (updating internal systems)
- Come up with innovations which can be implemented into BAU (business as usual)
- Perform out of hours on call duties on weekends as part of a rota system.
- Proactively manage costs at all times through maintenance of appropriate route solutions which do not compromise the quality of our service
- Freight checking.
- Other administration duties as required.
Skills, Experience and Education:
Essential:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Is a team player with the ability to work on own without supervision when required
- Demonstrates excellent problemsolving skills and will see issues through to resolution
- Demonstrable customer service experience
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise work / manage changing deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience working with or for life science industry
- Knowledge of export customs and transport documentation requirements

07:00 - 15:30
08:30 - 17:00
10:00 - 18:30
