Opening for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-known business based in Northwich. This role will pay a salary of £27,000-£30,000 depending on experience.


Client Details
Page Personnel are working closely with a highly successful and expanding business backed by major investment. Due to continuous growth they have an opening for a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Finance team.


Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing supplier invoices via the 3way matching process
  • Performing monthly statement reconciliations
  • Managing and escalating supplier queries to the relevant stakeholders
  • Leading the investigation of unallocated cash, debit balances and payment on accounts
  • Managing and delegating work across the AP team
  • Supervising a Finance Apprentice and developing their in depth AP knowledge
  • Producing KPI and payment practise reports
  • Supporting the Finance Manager to deliver ad hoc request, such as external audit data requests
  • Proactively improving processes and driving efficiencies.

Profile

  • Previous experience working within Purchase Ledger
  • Essential
  • Experience understanding of billing purchase orders
  • Essential
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Essential
  • Previously worked within a fast paced environment
  • Essential
  • Proactive and can do attitude
  • Essential
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload
  • Essential
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Required

Job Offer
