We are currently recruiting for a Head of Operational Finance to join a market leading, fast paced and dynamic business based in Suffolk on a permanent basis.

You will be an integral part of running the operational finance elements of the Shared Services division, therefore previous experience of managing large transactional finance teams is required.


Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering communication to the Operational Finance Team to inform on company strategy and emerging changes across the business
  • Preparing annual budgets for the Shared Services function
  • Understanding end to end finance processes to support as appropriate
  • Ensuring that all people managers are trained and supported
  • Attending regular review meetings with key stakeholders
  • Dealing with internal and external audit processes from end to end
  • Supporting the preparation of business cases to implement changes in systems and processes
  • Supporting the negotiation for finance related services with external vendors
  • Deputising for the Shared Services Director

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant post qualified experience, including managing large finance teams
  • Proven people management experience
  • Strong customer focussed ethos teamed with excellent communication and business partnering skills
  • Large company experience is an essential
  • Strong technical accounting skills
