Description

Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role working in an Adults CMHT.

Location:
Valley Garden Resource Centre
, Harrogate.

Pay Rate:
£34 - £36 per hour (assignment rate).

Contract Type:
Locum, 6-month contract/ongoing block booking.

Working Hours:
Primarily 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Part time is an option and flexibility around start and finish times is available.

Main Duties:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs, including risk assessments.
Developing and implementing individualized care plans based on patients' needs and goals.
Providing evidencebased interventions and treatments to patients with a range of mental health conditions.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care.
Providing emotional support and counselling to patients, families, and carers.
Delivering health promotion and education to patients and their families.
Monitoring and evaluating patients' progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Maintaining accurate and uptodate clinical documentation.

Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse:

Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
NMC Registration.
Strong assessment and care planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health care.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage competing priorities.
