A dynamic and expanding company, Fibre Partner Limited is a fibre installation contractor in the UK whose clients are Telecom fibre Infrastructure providers, operators, and Telecom system integrators.


The executive team at FPL is comprised of seasoned telecom experts with more than 40 years of combined industry expertise.

By recruiting local engineers and ensuring that they receive the necessary training, accreditation, and certification from UK-based professional training providers, FPL aims to increase the number of talented engineers in the UK.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Coordinate with the Director
  • Responsible for preparing daily project plan, building, monitoring, analysing and daily reporting on Project plans
  • Responsible and accountable for regular communication with customers and delivering projects according to required timescales.
  • Responsible to provide daily tasks to field teams.
  • Dependency Management within program plans to ensure Program integration, identification of issues and suggestion of solutions
  • Responsible for ongoing plan consolidation
  • Responsible for provision of recommendations for key management reports from plans
  • Management of plan tracking and progress reporting and communications with key stakeholders such as the clients alongside Fibre Project Manager.
  • Create meaningful project plans
  • Handle all the resources and use them wisely.
  • Regularly update project action tracker and risk register
  • Responsible for planning resource levels to smooth out resource overloads and future forecasting of resources
  • Ensure that Onsite Fibre Engineering Team and Client teams are working collaboratively and following set processes and divisional framework
  • Ownership and detailed knowledge of the current program
  • Assess the team's performance and organise training if necessary.
  • Create smooth communication between Engineering team, Management team and Clients.
  • Create daily and monthly reports about the project's progress and present it to the clients and management team.
  • Assign work to the team in advance.
  • Regular communication with clients regarding the updates on civil works related issues.
  • Assess KPI's for engineers and conduct one on one meetings with them to guide them on how to improve their productivity.

Requirements:


  • Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office and data entry knowledge
  • Punctual and wellmannered
  • Ability to handle phone calls with customers
  • Willing to prioritise certain tasks
  • Willing to learn new software
  • Experienced and seasoned professional in project management experience and commercial awareness
  • Strong communication including writing reports and presenting
  • Time management and planning
  • Methodical approach
  • Understanding of the New Roads & Streetworks Act 1991(NRSWA)
  • Experience in FTTH, FTTP Project Management and proven project management abilities
