Merrifield Consultants are delighted to partner with a national social welfare charity to find them a Trust and Foundations Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic and high-performing Fundraising Team.

This role will suit someone who understands trust fundraising and is looking for a new challenge, taking on more responsibility.

Salary:
£30,497


Location:
London-Hybrid (1-2 days in the office)


Contract:
Full time, Permanent


Benefits: 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays) rising to 28 days with long service

Responsibilities:


  • Develop a rolling program of progress updates to current small trust funders, demonstrating the impact of our work
  • Provide excellent relationship and grant management
  • Support the development of the prospect plan to identify new donors, reactivating lapsed donors, and develop and grow the charity and Foundation portfolio
  • Ensure high standards of correspondence with Trust contacts and prompt responses to enquires and opportunities
  • To contribute to the strategic development of the trust team, implementing own planning and reporting on objectives

Person Specification:


  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management system
  • Experience of contributing to donor reports, providing information against objectives
  • Ability to undertake high quality research to identify potential trusts and foundation prospects
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
