Description

Our client, a leading digital marketplace, is currently recruiting a Data Governance Lead who will report directly to the Head of BI and Data Analytics.

Building relationships across the data & analytics team as well as with key business data owners, you'll work as part of a team contributing to the wider BI strategy of delivering clarity consistency, quality and control.

Their data is held on AWS data lake, and in a process of implementing a Data Hub.

The role

Help define and manage their data better.
Design and implement Data Management strategy across the data estate
Support and champion the goal of using data as a strategic asset
Create and chair a data Steering Committee and implement data management monitoring, reporting and KPI's

What we're looking for

A proven track record of designing & implementing a Data Management/Governance solution in a modern cloud environment.
Broad knowledge and deep practical experience in data management disciplines.
Proven experience of working effectively with stakeholders in specialist and technical roles, including Data Engineering.
Proven experience of working collaboratively across boundaries to secure buyin and create solutions that work for all stakeholders.
