BCSP Administrators will have collective oversight and control of the administrative service, ensuring a qualitative and responsive service is maintained to support the effectiveness of the BCSP.
Accountable for providing an administrative service to the BCSP Management & Specialist Screening Nurse Teams to support the effective delivery of the Lancashire Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
Act as first point of contact with North West & Midlands Regional BCSP Hub (Rugby) with the recording of results and arrangement of nurse-led community clinic appointments.
Maintain regular communication with Primary Care (GP's) with regards to patient activity.
In conjunction with the National Team, maintain the BCSP national database - (BCSS IT system).
Ensure smooth referral pathways are adhered to for patients referred to local Acute Trusts.
Maintain the BCSP surveillance waiting lists and local database.
Participate in educational/awareness sessions as identified by the BCSP.
Support the BCSP Programme & Deputy Programme Manager in the development of performance reporting to the National Screening Programme, strategic groups, and the wider health community.
Assist the BCSP Programme Manager & Deputy Programme Manager in the development of robust information systems that will support the current and future needs of the service.
Collate and analyse data from various sources to meet the required reporting standards.
