Sub Agent - Environment Scotland
East of Scotland
An opportunity has arisen for a Sub Agent to join the team at Galliford Try.
As a Sub Agent, you will take full responsibility for management of your section of works ensuring you meet client and company performance expectations.
Ideally, you will based in or around the East of Scotland and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the Region.
What you will be doing:
Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment.
Day to day management of site-based construction works.
Responsible for effective coordination of resources working on the project.
Ensure temporary and permanent works are delivered in accordance with the design.
Careful material and plant management to meet programme and financial targets.
Assist in planning and programming with site engineering teams.
Participate in site discipline meetings to aid effective coordination and delivery of the works.
Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and Permit to Work systems are in place before work commences.
About You:
Ability to work safely.
Able to communicate effectively with site team and subcontractors.
Execution of construction work in line with ITP's, quality standards and safety documentation.
Confident in delivering safety briefings and toolbox talks.
Able to read and interpret design drawings.
Proven leadership capability.
