Salary:
£26,000 - £28,000

Proactive are currently in search of an experienced stores operative to start work immediately for a client of ours in Bishop's Stortford.

You will be joining the Stores and Production team to regulate parts and materials to the manufacturing teams, to ensure they are regularly stocked and ensure they have parts to complete the production targets for the day.

You will be required to complete work involving standing, bending and moving parts and deliveries.

You will also be involved in stock management to maintain the supply of parts to manufacturing and liaising with other departments regarding stock issues and requirements.

Computer Literate and accurate record keeping
Excellent timekeeping and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changes, delays or unexpected events
Ability to prioritise and schedule tasks to ensure timely completion of job responsibilities
Interpersonal skills and ability to work with all employees at all levels of management

Duties will include but not be limited to:

Weekly replenishment of stock racks, lineside to each assembly cell
Replenishment of kit trolleys for each assembly line operator to ensure completion of orders
Reactive attendance to all operators in the event of stock outs, parts required urgently, and replacement of faulty items
Initiation of Non-Conforming process, liaising with the Quality department for faulty part identification and replacement process
Identify areas for improvement in relation to process steps and deliverable methods in order to increase efficiency
