Financial Accountant - London (2 Days in the office) - £50,000 + Benefits

Our client, a large housing association based in the London area, are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant with a housing association background.

The positions will play the key part in providing all of the statutory and regulatory reporting well asmanaging a team of 3.

The Role also includes considerable flexibility including a hybrid working arrangement (2 days in the office) as well as flexibility when hours are taken.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements, including managing the external auditing procedure.
  • Looking at Cash Flow including preparing statements and forecasts.
  • Controlling the balance sheet, including making sure reconciliations are signed off and correct.
  • VAT Returns
  • Management of 3 assistant financial accountants.
The housing association require someone who is a qualified ACCA/CIMA or CIPFA Professional.
