Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a forward-thinking firm in Central Manchester who, due to continued growth are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their expanding Business Services team.

Duties will involve the preparation of year-end statutory accounts, corporation and personal tax computations, identifying tax planning opportunities, and the review of VAT returns and Bookkeeping.


The ideal individual will be ACA/ ACCA part qualified or qualified (AAT Qualified also considered) working in practice and have a good working knowledge of FRS 102 reporting standards.

The role can be seen in more detail below:


Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Preparation of management accounts
Training clients on accountancy software
Reviewing the work of junior staff
Supporting Partners
Dealing with client queries


Requirements:

ACA / ACCA Part Qualified or Qualified
MAAT Qualified also considered
Good working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards
Knowledge of Xero/ Sage/ Iris (ideally)
Previous experience of working in practice is essential
