Description

Acorn is currently recruiting for a Trainee Oxy-Propne Burner for an on-going / permanent contract based in Port Talbot Steelworks.

Our client are a premier provider of material processing and environmental services to the global steel and metals industries.

Successful applicants will be trained to cut scrap metal with Oxy Propane equipment.


Role requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in an industrial environment, and some basic mechanical skills
  • A good level of personal fitness is required
  • You must have a full UK driving licence
  • You will also require a CCNSG Site Safety Passport, or the ability to obtain one

Working hours:

  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 50 hours a week
  • There may be some overtime requirements
Annual earning potential are in excess of £31,000 per annum, with quarterly bonuses in addition.
