Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Thornhill Community Academy
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Administration Officer - Attendance and Pastoral at Thornhill Community Academy.


You will have:

  • Maths and English to grade C, GCSE or equivalent
  • Experience of working with young people in a school environment
  • The ability to promote high standards of attendance
  • Good understanding of safeguarding in schools or willing to train
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to deal with a high volume of telephone work and able to deliver a consistent message
  • Experience of dealing with sensitive issues
  • Good attention to detail to be able to input data efficiently
  • Passionate about childcentred educational principles
