Project Coordinator (Part-Time)
£20000 (FTE £40000), Hassocks (outskirts), Hybrid Working, 19 Hours per week, 25 Days Holiday (pro rata), Healthcare, Pension, Life Assurance, Death in Service, Eyecare


The Role


Due to continued success, our market leading, global manufacturing and engineering client are looking to grow their Engineering team and an opportunity has arisen for a highly organised part-time Project Co-ordinator to join them.

Situated in the UK HeadOffice, this is a busy and involved Project Coordination role that will see you assisting and taking responsibility for engineering projects from a project management and administration perspective.

This role would suit someone with a background in projectadministration, coordination or management who is looking to establish their career in a highly successful, global business.


  • Create and manage project plans; monitor and review project progress and timelines; adjust schedules and plans as needed and identify and resolve issues to ensure project success.
  • Control engineering documents and approval/release process of R&D designs into the factories.
  • Establish efficient workflows to handle supporting documentation within the existing R&D process.
  • Manage daytoday execution of project implementations. Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation and status updates for the project.
  • Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and indepth analytical skills.
  • Adopt a standardized implementation methodology for all projects.
  • Facilitate review sessions with the engineering leaders and business unit management team.
  • At any time, provide a current plan of record for all ongoing projects.
  • Participate in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management.
  • Manage releases of development projects into manufacturing
  • Lead challenging conversations regarding budget, resources and timeline and formally capture and communicate outcomes of those meetings.
  • Provide progress reports and KPI's on projects on a regular basis.

Requirements:


We would expect the successful Project Coordinator to demonstrate either experience in a similar position, or a degree/equivalent in Business Administration or IT.

You will be a confident communicator with great Project Coordination and administrative experience.
Experience in Manufacturing would be highly advantageous.

You will have a flexible and enthusiastic approach to your work and be willing to roll sleeves up and get stuck where it's required.

You will have demonstrable project management experience of deliveringprojects on time and in budget, as well as experience with document management systems and processes Due to the very rural location of the offices it is essential you have your own transport.

They are in a location that is NOT serviced by public transportat all.
