Based in Covent Garden, London

Full time; 42.5 hours per week

£37,812 per annum

Our Technical, Production and Costume Department plays a leading part in ensuring our performances are of the highest quality by delivering technical excellence for every performance, rehearsal, and event.


The Technical, Production and Costume Administration Team support a busy department of over 300 staff plus numerous casuals and are essential for the smooth running of the function.

The Technical Coordinator (Scheduling) will create, maintain and distribute technical schedules across the department, working closely with a range of stakeholders to ensure that the department is resourced and staffed effectively.


  • Good level of working in an administrative or production role, ideally within a large theatre/performing arts environment.
  • Experience of working with different departments and stakeholders to create performance and technical schedules.
  • Understanding and experience of theatre best practice including Health and Safety.
  • Working database knowledge, including data analysis and report writing and experience of analysing data including financial reports and departmental statistics.
  • An ability to work under pressure and time constraints, showing initiative and independent thinking.
  • Please note, knowledge of the Opera/Ballet repertoire is not essential, and we are looking for key transferable skills. An interest in the art forms is welcomed but not a prerequisite._
