Learning Support Assistant - Marple


Are you an experienced
Learning Support Assistant looking for your next role? Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for passionate and empathetic LSAs to work with children diagnosed with Special Educational Needs.


Tradewind are currently working with a primary school in Marple looking for two Teaching Assistants to work with students with
EHCPs across
KS1 and KS2.

You would be delivering
speech and language interventions, raising attainment in
phonics, along with some
physio work. Experience supporting those with
Down Syndrome and
Prader-Willi syndrome would be particularly advantageous. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £70 - £80 per day.

The positions are starting in
January, and continuing for the
full academic year until July.


Your duties would include:

  • Supporting and managing a pupil with additional needs and/or an Educational Health Care Plan
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Working in and outside of the classroom
  • Liaising with external agencies and professionals
  • Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn
