CLOSING DATE 23 AUGUST 2023**With safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service as a priority the Logistics Co-ordinator within NOV Rig Technologies will be a critical part of the business. Using your logistics knowledge, you will facilitate the receiving and shipping of supplies, stock, materials, and products. Critically, you will manage the flow of orders requiring strong reliance on monitoring and co-ordination of delivery pickup and/or drop off schedules both manually and with system software. You will work with key stakeholders to develop freight estimates and execute the logistics plan for both domestic and international projects with an emphasis on controlling costs while meeting schedule, customer, and compliance requirements. Developing our business goes hand in hand with developing our people's skills, with the support of the Logistics Manager and Team Lead, you will be open to career progression and continued self-development to reach personal and business goals.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Movement of goods, imports, exports, local / domestic shipments
- Liaise with Freight Agents for quotes, queries, issues, customs documentation, and movement of shipments
- Monitor freight agent performance, obtaining and comparing quotations
- Assist in preparation of customs audits/inspections
- QA Packlist certification retrieval
- Operate a manual system for nonstock shipments
- Contacting customers to provide information on shipping details and related issues
- Generate accurate shipping documentation following the rules and regulations according to the country of destination via the ERP
- Dealing with customer complaints and enquiries regarding shipments
- Prepare export documentation ensuring correct commodity codes and Customs Procedure codes are used
QUALIFICATIONS:
- HND in a relevant business qualification or equivalent (logistic, supply chain)
- CILT related qualification (Desirable)
EXPERIENCE:
- Working knowledge of a logistics import export environment
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Working knowledge of customs procedures including suspension authorisations
- Exposure to ERP systems (Desirable)

- Computer literacy (including excellent command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook)
