Salary:
£110 per day

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.

You will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that pre-prepared work is completed and maintaining a positive learning environment.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the education sector and make a meaningful impact on the education of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering preprepared lessons and ensuring that students remain on task.
Managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive learning environment.
Providing support to students who require assistance with their work.
Liaising with teaching staff to ensure effective delivery of curriculum content.
Completing administrative tasks as required, such as taking registers and reporting back to teaching staff.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence in managing classroom behavior and maintaining order.
Ability to follow instructions and deliver preprepared lesson plans effectively.
Previous experience working with children or young adults is desirable but not essential.
Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
