Salary:
£50,000 - £65,000

Responsibilities:

Analyse and interpret complex data sets, identify patterns and trends that provide insight into insurance operations.
Work with large datasets to create reports, models, and dashboards that deliver key performance metric and provide insight into trends and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including underwriting, claims, and finance teams, to ensure data is effectively utilised to support business decisions.
Provide expert advice on data interpretation and analysis, ensuring that analytical insights are based on accurate data sources and modelling techniques.
Design, implement and maintain data models to support the needs of the business.
Develop and maintain documentation to ensure that analytical models and data sources are easily understood and can be used by other team members.
Continually seek ways to improve and automate data collections and reporting processes.

Requirements:

A degree in a related field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or an equivalent.
5+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst, with 1+ years in Insurance.
Strong experience in working with large data sets using SQL and other programming languages.
A deep understanding of insurance operations and risk management principles.
A track record of delivering highquality reports and analysis to key stakeholders in the business.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into insights that can be understood by nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience in data visualisation tools
Power BI preferred.
Keen eye for detail and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
