The UK CIB HR Department supports CIB staff and managers in London, providing them with a full range of strategic advisory and transactional services (in terms of payroll, reward, pension and benefits, recruitment, career management, learning & development and employee relations).
The CIB GM HR Department, supports on a day to day basis GM staff and managers in London and Paris and coordinates GM HR globally in the 3 regions EMEA, APAC and Americas, providing the business with a full range of strategic advisory and transactional services (in terms of payroll, reward, pension and benefits, recruitment, career management, learning & development and employee relations).
In close collaboration with regular contact with the local HR platforms in the countries and the CIB and Group HR Department of BNP Paribas S.A.
(headquartered in Paris).The purpose of the role is to provide executive assistance to the Global Head of Global Markets HR.
This role may be carried out within a range of experience depending on the development of knowledge and skills in the role and the role-holder's ability to work with increased autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Diary Management for the Global Head of Global Markets HR
Expenses & Invoice processing for Global Markets HR
Production of confidential correspondence, documents and presentations
Arrangement of complex meetings taking into account of global time zones
Organising GM HR offsites and team meetings
Providing administrative support to the GM HR UK team on GM HR Projects, annual GM HR campaigns and global coordination requirements
The Requirements
Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to work to set priorities and establish an appropriate sense of urgency
Able to project manage ad-hoc projects as and when they arise
Attention to detail and accuracy
Self-motivated and the ability to work efficiently on won initiative and establish a process of continuous improvement
Exercise discretion as dealing with confidential client and personnel information
Strong MS Office, Powerpoint and Word skills
The ability to multi-task
The ability to deal with multiple requests and ensure that expectations are met and managed
Good stakeholder communication
Quick to understand internal policies and procedures
Capable of working in a pressurised environment
