The Parenting Assessment and Family Time (PAFT) team were established in 2019 following a review of the service and we are currently seeking to employ a fixed term Assistant Early Help Practitioner until June 30th 2024 in the Amber Valley locality.

You will be forward thinking, proactive and have a can-do approach.

You must be proficient with IT systems. Please refer to the job description for full details of the role.


You will have the ability to travel into remote areas and out of County and able to transport service users and resources in your own vehicle.


A mileage allowance is attached to this post, but it is possible for the allowance to be converted to other forms of transport where there is a requirement to undertake travel as part of this post.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.


Saturday and Sunday hours will be paid at plain time where it is part of your normal working pattern unless it is between 7pm and 7am, where enhanced rates of pay apply.

Enhanced pay rates are paid for Bank Holiday working.
