Medical marketing at Reckitt is challenging and rewarding, based on Healthcare Professional (HCP) and consumer insights and strong innovations, it requires key skills and capabilities to continue to drive business performance.

The purpose of this role is to continue to evolve the business medical marketing capabilities, competencies and training to enable better medical marketing implementation, whilst also supporting Global Medical Marketing for the Gastrointestinal (GI) category.


In this role, you will contribute by working across the business to implement medical marketing and medical sales capability development, and support the GI category team in developing their pipeline of HCP toolkits and country implementation.


You will be involved with:


  • The evolution of competencies and capabilities in medical marketing and medical sales for the global and country teams.
  • Development of engaging training and educational assets to support measurable improvement in medical marketing and medical sales competencies and capabilities.
  • Support the development of working relationships & partnerships with external key opinion leaders (KOL's) and professional organisations.
  • Work hand in hand with regulatory, medical science, pharmacy sales and R&D to support category and trade marketing on brand projects and communication.
  • Effectively manage educational and promotional communications to external professionals that are delivered via peertopeer, or thirdparty organisations.
  • Working with external experts to develop HCP insights relevant to the category and brand and propose strategies to bring the insights to life.
  • Develop educational initiatives for consumers involving internal and external experts.
  • Management of external agencies in the delivery of global HCP toolkits and educational initiatives. Work alongside the rest of the Medical Marketing team to drive improved performance and crossbrand initiatives.

  • Ability to build good relationships and challenge constructively and confidently with strong evidence of where you have developed new and strategically important relationships with external bodies to deliver measurable business results.
  • Strong entrepreneurial, conceptual and analytical skills with ability to collate and process data, develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation in line with opportunities and changes within the markets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills both verbally and written in the English language and influence across a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing and creating medical or healthcare materials/content /assets for HCP audiences including training materials.
  • Previous experience of professional marketing or sales within OTC categories would be an advantage
